Therese in other words

Just watched the movie New in town with Renée Zellweger & Harry Connick Jr.
I wanted a movie with a happy ending and a happy ending I got. And a predictable story and some lovey dovey stuff in the middle.

The movie was set in Minnesota and alot of the characters had Swedish sounding names (or atleast what Americans think are Swedish sounding names like Olafsen, Gunderson etc) and they spoke with a tiny Swedish accent. So that kinda cracked me up at times but that’s probably because I’m Swedish myself.  

All in all the movie was ok. It’s pretty unrealistic and the characters didn’t really made me feel anything, but it was a nice way to pass the time. Not gonna buy the DVD tho :P
